Review Policy & Guest Post Policy

REVIEW POLICY

If you are an author, publisher, or publicist who would like to send me a book, arrange an interview or guest post, please email me at bookbutterfly9(at)gmail(dot)com. I'm also available for blog tours and other promotions, so please don't hesitate to contact me.

Types of Genres I Enjoy: As a steadfast reader, Young Adult literature is my main focus. I am partial to YA fiction with paranormal, supernatural or fantasy elements. I do accept e-books, so you are welcome to email me with review requests for them. You can see a complete list of titles I've reviewed here.

Types of Genres I Don't Enjoy: I do not normally read non-fiction, christian fiction or self help books. I'm also not interested in audio books.

Unfortunately, due to the volume of requests I receive, I've had to become more selective about the titles that I can accept for review. I do try to respond to each request even if it is to politely decline, and you should receive an email from me. I strongly suggest, however, that you contact me prior to mailing out a review book. If I receive one that I have not agreed to review and is not a good fit for my blog/reading style, I reserve the right to not review it.

My reviews are personal, original and honest. I do cross post all my reviews at Goodreads, and will post at Amazon upon request. My reviews include: an image of the cover of the book, a synopsis, where to purchase the book, a link to the author's page, and of course my personal thoughts on the book. If you have a special event that you are looking to coordinate my review with, please indicate so in your message.

Disclosure: This book blog is written and edited by me.  I maintain this blog based on a lifelong love of reading and a desire to help promote books I am passionate about. I do not sell ARC's though I may pass them on to other reviewers or give them away in featured contests.
