THE STRANGELY BEAUTIFUL TALE OF MISS PERCY PARKER by Leanna Renee Hieber
Publication Date- August 25th 2009

Synopsis- What fortune awaited sweet, timid Percy Parker at Athens Academy? Considering how few of Queen Victoria’s Londoners knew of it, the great Romanesque fortress was dreadfully imposing, and little could Percy guess what lay inside. She had never met the powerful and mysterious Professor Alexi Rychman, knew nothing of the growing shadow, the Ripper and other supernatural terrors against which his coterie stood guard. She knew simply that she was different, haunted, with her snow-white hair, pearlescent skin and uncanny gifts. But this arched stone doorway offered a portal to a new life, an education far from the convent—and an invitation to an intimate yet dangerous dance at the threshold of life and death….

I found out about this from a review Jess did at Book Reviews by Jess! Go check it out!

FORGET-HER-NOTS by Amy Brecount White
Publication Date
- March 2nd 2010

Synopsis - When someone leaves three mystery flowers outside her dorm door, Laurel thinks that maybe the Avondale School isn’t so awful after all — until her own body starts to freak out. In the middle of her English presentation on the Victorian Language of Flowers, strange words pop into her head, and her body seems to tingle and hum. Impulsively, Laurel gives the love bouquet she made to demonstrate the language to her spinster English teacher. When that teacher unexpectedly and immediately finds romance, Laurel suspects that something — something magical — is up. With her new friend, Kate, she sets out to discover the origins and breadth of her powers by experimenting on herself and others. But she can’t seem to find any living experts in the field of flower powers to guide her. And her bouquets don’t always do her bidding, especially when it comes to her own crush, Justin. Rumors about Laurel and her flowers fly across campus, and she’s soon besieged by requests from girls — both friends and enemies — who want their lives magically transformed — just in time for prom.

Captivate by Carrie Jones
Puplication Date- January 2010

If you were a big fan of Need by Carrie Jones like myself, then you will be happy to know there is a sequel, Captivate, coming out in January 2010! In an interview back in May '09 Carrie told blogger Kelly Fineman these fun facts about Captivate--

1. What happens in it surprises me a lot.
2. Zara becomes even more of a butt kicker.
3. Bad stuff happens.
4. Someone dies.
5. She deals with some interesting pixies.

( I wonder who dies? Better not be Betty! She's my favorite character!)

Jekel Loves Hyde by Beth Fantaskey
Publication Date - Spring 2010

Beth Fantaskey, author of Jessica's Guide to Dating on the Dark Side has a new book coming out in the Spring of 2010, called Jekel Loves Hyde. In an interview with Wondrous Reads back in April, she described the book as -

"It’s a different kind of twist on the paranormal. Jill Jekel and Tristen Hyde are two high school students who gradually discover that they share a mysterious, possibly dangerous, connection to the old novel, The Strange Case of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde. As they race against the clock to figure out the puzzle, they start to fall for each other – which is probably the worst thing that could happen to them."

(Sounds intriguing right?)

ANGELS LIE by Melissa de la Cruz
