PRETTY DEAD by: FRANCESCA LIA BLOCK

Charlotte becomes close to her best friend Emily’s boyfriend, a beautiful “black sheep” named Jared. As their relationship grows, Charlotte must confront her terrifying past, embodied in the person of her maker William Stone Eliot who has come looking for her."
This sounds really intriguing to me! I love a good romantic entanglement, especially when there are vampires involved!

About the Book - The object of envy and desire, Charlotte Emerson seems to have the perfect life...but she’s been dead for almost a century. When a new romance converges with the return of her first love, Charlotte becomes the subject of a dark bargain that might give her the only thing she’s ever coveted—the chance to be human again. Critically acclaimed writer Francesca Lia Block gives the undead a second chance at life in Pretty Dead.
This provocative, riveting, and wonderfully accessible new novel will reach a new generation of readers who have yet to discover Francesca Lia Block.
I found an interview the author did at Deer Women blog, and this is what she said about Pretty Dead-
"Pretty Dead is about Charlotte, a ninety-nine year old vampire in the body of a seventeen year old girl.

This does sound very good. And I love the cover. If you like reading vampire books about 100-year old vamps in the body of young girls, I'd recommend 'Let the Right One In' - I've just finished it.
This cover is so striking. I have to stop and admire it every time I see it.
What an attention-grabbing cover!
I WoW'ed this a few weeks ago am SO excited to see it somewhere else. Francesca needs more love. If you haven't read anything else by her I suggest starting with Dangerous Angels: The Weetzie Bat Books. They changed my life when I was a teen and continue to shape who I am.
Following you now!
This one looks intriguing!!
An older person in a younger body? Very very cool!
This is the second time I've seen this one posted on a WoW this week (so far). I can't wait for it either!
Here's mine this week :
