Possessed by Kate Cann
Publication Date: February 1st 2010
Rayne wants a complete break from her old life, from her possessive boyfriend and the claustrophobia of the inner-city estate she lives on. She lands a live-in job in the wildness of the country, at an ancient manor house called Morton’s Keep, where life is exhilarating, but terrifying too. There’s something sinister going on at the Keep – something to do with its history – but no one will talk to her about it. No one except her new group of friends, that is. They’re alluring and seductive …especially the group leader, the elegant St John.
Who can she trust to tell her the truth? She can sense something evil growing – but from where, from who? And how can she keep herself safe from it?
This book has already been released in the UK as "Possessing Rayne" and the follow up is "Fire and Rayne". Here are the covers--which do you like better? I prefer the UK ones myself!
Waiting on Wednesday is a weekly event to spotlight upcoming releases that we're eagerly anticipating. It's hosted by Jill at Breaking the Spine.

UK, it is more dramatic with that bit of hair showing
I like the us cover. It's scarier.
This looks intriguing. And I think I've got to go with the US cover. The UK looks too much like the cover for Liar. And just less compelling in general, though the sequel's cover is awesome.
So this is the same book just with different titles and covers? That's weird. I definitely pick the UK version. The US cover just looks...odd.
I agree with you - UK covers all the way!
Liking this cover better. Great pick.
Hmmmm, it almost sounds like a Gothic novel. I love this one.
I like the top one (purpley one).
Looks really good!
I can't decide which covers I like better - the US is scarier, but I think I like the UK, something about them.
This sounds really good.
Whoooaaoo sounds pretty good!!
This sounds pretty creepy, will definitely keep an eye out for this one. The cover is creepy too, freaks me out a little bit ;)
Sounds like a great/creepy book! The cover kinda reminds me of the cover on Unwind.
