Beastly, a modern take on the Beauty and the Beast, has been postponed until March 18, 2011.
Melissa Marr's popular book, Wicked Lovely has been optioned by Universal Studios to be made into a movie. No casting details yet. 
The star of The Hills, Lauren Conrad has a movie deal for her novel, L.A. Candy. Temple Hill Entertainment has acquired the screen rights for the book. Lauren will serve as executive producer for the film.
It has also been announced that the movies for the seventh book in the Harry Potter series, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, will release in two full length feature movies! Part I has a release date in the US of November 19th 2010 and Part II on July 15th 2011. (Ughh!!!)

I'm kinda happy for Vampire Academy, so it better be GOOD! Also, although I have not read Beastly, it looks great, huh? Hope so. :)

Why does HP Part II have to be so far away?? Ah, well, at least Part I is coming up...
I read Beastly a few months ago and it is really good. I was bummed when I heard they were moving the date back. It was suppose to release July 30th but Zac Efron has a movie that weekend so the production company wanted to delay it.
I really dont get why it matters. Just because they are dating? So confused. Oh well.... I had not seen that version of the poster either. I love it!
I read too that they pushed it back because of Zac Effron's movie. GRRR
I haven't read Beastly- guess this gives me time to catch up :)
So sad. Beastly would've been out by now! Yeah well, I'm willing to wait for the Pettyfer. (:
I actually can't wait for Beautiful Creatures to come the big screen and I would LOVE to see Hunger Games as well.
Yaay HP always comes out on my bday in the summer. I'm glad! I was waiting for Beastly so badly, I'm bummed they moved it. Grr.
Noooo ! I thought Beastly was coming out this year ! Fail :( But I'm so excited to see that movie ! I also can't wait to see Harry Potter ! But that's awesome to see Wicked Lovely optioned !
