Teenage Garage Sale – Here’s what you’d find if I had a garage sale during my
teen years:

Dreamgirls (Widescreen Edition)1. OBCs – Original Broadway Cast albums, of course! Evita, Dreamgirls, Godspell – some might have even been on 8-track. And if you’re too young to know what an 8-track is, get thee to Wikipedia!

2. Old paperback novels that I didn’t tell my parents I was reading – Valley of the Dolls and Once is Not Enough both racy best-sellers by Jacqueline Susann and everything by Harold Robbins.Valley of the Dolls

3. Lunchboxes from my childhood – The Partridge Family, Sigmund and the Seamonsters, Snoopy! Actually I probably would like to go back and buy all those lunchboxes! A few years ago I started collecting them and I’ve now amassed a collection of about 60!

The Partridge Family: The Complete Third Season4. My PAL bowling ball – I used to bowl with the Police Athletic League on Saturday mornings and had my own red bowling ball, complete with case, and shoes

5. Things I got for Christmas, but rarely used after several failed attempts: A skateboard which was just way too much work and too awkward to carry back and forth to school. An acoustic guitar that I never learned to play – I simply have never been able to do two different things with my hands at the same time.
Hockey skates – I don’t care if they’re supposed to be for boys, I can’t stand up on the ice in them. Figure skates all the way!

My First Dream House (with furniture)6. The entire Fisher Price collection – When I was a kid I had every toy that Fisher Price created! The school house, the airplane, the yacht, the barn, the family dreamhouse, the garage, even the upscale townhouse. Plus, I had all the people and their animals. Basically, I had my own little Fisher Price city!

7. Well-read copies of Dynamite, Tiger Beat and Mad magazines. I actually kept a few of these because they hold such fond memories for me.

8. Some clothes that helped me get voted Best Dressed in my high school senior year! Anything from designer jeans to cashmere sweaters to one of my favorites – a rust colored leisure suit.

Tiger Beat Magazine (Happy Birthday Justin Bieber, April 2010)9. The platform shoes and ruffled shirt that I wore on my first holy communion. I was the shortest guy in class and therefore the first in my line and my mother was determined to make me a fashion icon!

10. My Big Jim doll, I mean ACTION FIGURE, all his friends, his outfits, the minivan and recreational vehicle and, of course, the airplane that doubled as a carry-all case!

Unnatural (Archangel Academy, #1)
In the town of Eden in northwestern England stands the exclusive boarding school known as Archangel Academy. Ancient and imposing, it’s a place filled with secrets. Just like its students…

For Michael Howard, being plucked from his Nebraska hometown and sent thousands of miles away is as close as he’s ever come to a miracle. In Weeping Water, he felt trapped, alone. At Archangel Academy, Michael belongs. And in Ciaran, Penry, and especially Ciaran’s enigmatic half-brother Ronan, Michael finds friendship deeper than he’s ever known.

But Michael’s only beginning to understand what makes the Academy so special. Ronan is a vampire—part of a hybrid clan who are outcasts even among other vampires. Within the Academy’s confines exists a ruthless world of deadly rivalries and shifting alliances, of clandestine love and forbidden temptations.
