Win one of two copies of The Last Little Blue Envelope by Maureen Johnson!

 http://jessicalawlor.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/04/LastLittleBlueEnv-jkt-des61.jpg

BY MAUREEN JOHNSON

Ginny Blackstone thought that the biggest adventure of her life was behind her. She spent last summer traveling around Europe, following the tasks her aunt Peg laid out in a series of letters before she died. When someone stole Ginny's backpack—and the last little blue envelope inside—she resigned herself to never knowing how it was supposed to end.

Months later, a mysterious boy contacts Ginny from London, saying he's found her bag. Finally, Ginny can finish what she started. But instead of ending her journey, the last letter starts a new adventure—one filled with old friends, new loves, and once-in-a-lifetime experiences. Ginny finds she must hold on to her wits . . . and her heart. This time, there are no instructions.

Maureen Johnson is a New York Times bestselling author whose novels include Suite Scarlett, Scarlett Fever, Girl At Sea, 13 Little Blue Envelopes, and The Key To The Golden Firebird. She lives in New York City, but travels to the UK regularly to soak up the drizzle and watch English TV.

Unfamiliar with this series? Be sure and check out the book that started it all -

13 Little Blue Envelopes
13 Little Blue Envelopesby Maureen Johnson (Harper Teen, October 2006)
Inside little blue envelope 1 are $1,000 and instructions to buy a plane ticket.

In envelope 2 are directions to a specific London flat.

The note in envelope 3 tells Ginny: Find a starving artist.

Because of envelope 4, Ginny and a playwright/thief/ bloke–about–town called Keith go to Scotland together, with somewhat disastrous–though utterly romantic–results. But will she ever see him again?

Everything about Ginny will change this summer, and it's all because of the 13 little blue envelopes.

The Last Little Blue Envelope

Most interesting place I've ever been too... hmmm! that's a tough one for me.... I would have to say Cairo, Egypt. Although at the time Cairo is a bit unstable, when I visited it was a land filled with adventure and mystery! I loved learning about the Egyptian Culture, it was fascinating. Not to mention the Great Pyramids of Egypt. Who hasn't dreamed of visiting them? Anyway, that's my answer :)haha! thanks so much for hosting this giveaway!

Thanks for the giveaway!

When I was 12, I went to the Grand Canyon. I hiked to a camping ground about 10 miles in and back out a couple days later. While I can't say I enjoyed all that hiking too much (I'm sure I would enjoy it more now that I'm older and in better shape), I really loved it. The waterfalls down there were very beautiful. I especially loved Moony Falls; you have to climb down a wall-ish thing to get to it, but it really was fantastic. There were also one or two wonderful, old mining caves out there I looked around in. I would most definitely go back there.

The most interesting place I've been to has to be a toss up between Aruba with their underground caves and St. Thomas with their beautiful mountains and pirate castles. I'd love to go back to both places. I've been to St. Thomas twice, but I'll never get tired of it.

I would have to say Texas. I honestly have not traveled anywhere besides there and Florida ( I live in New Hampshire). I refuse to fly, so I won't ever be leaving the country. At least not for a very long time. We traveled to Texas when I was a kid and that's about it. But I would go back because we have a lot of family there that I would love to see :)

The most interesting place I've ever traveled to I guess would be Macau. Being of a Portuguese descent I found it so facinating to see Portuguese food offered in restaurants and street signs written in Portuguese etc. while traveling in China.

Wow, that's a hard question. Every place I go is interesting. I will say that the afternoon I got lost in the covered bazar in Istanbul was super charged interesting--but then there was the time in Nicaragua when I ran out of gas coming back from the beach or Canada when I got stuck on an Indian Reservation until two in the morning.

Although I haven't visited many places at all in my life, so far (Canada, USA, China and France).

I have visited Paris, France about a year ago now and it was an amazing experience! I have to say it was the most exciting and interesting trip yet. I know how to speak French somewhat okay (not really :P) and seeing all the 'tourist attractions' were incredible. I thought I would never see the Eiffel Tower ever in my life but I did!

I would really like to visit Paris another time and I remember all the great memories there. And to make new fun memories. :)

I took a cruise to the Mediteranean when I was 17 with my grandmother. She chose to stay on the boat most days, so I explored by myself. One day we were rerouted from Santorini, Greece because of a large storm. We ended up on a tiny island called Nafplion where no one spoke English and there were no street signs. Another girl from the boat and I went exploring and got hopelessly lost! We ended up stumbling onto a church where they were celebrating all saints day. We were so hot and sweaty I think they assumed we were in need of assistance in many ways. While we tried to ask directions (neither of us spoke a word of Greek) they kept giving us food and casting worried/pitiful glances our direction. It was such an amazing experience!
I would love to go back to all the places I visited, but that one was very fun because it was so authentic. It wasn't a tourist island at all, it was just a little Greek village. So fun.

The most interesting place I've ever been is probably Switzerland. I mean, come on, they gave out free chocolate in like every store! No, just kidding. When I was a sophomore in college, my car broke down in Beaver, Utah. Lucky for me though, my mother's cousin's wife's parents live in Beaver, so I had somewhere to stay. It's a small little town, but they brag about the fact that they have the "World's Best Water!" It was pretty tasty, right out of the tap.

I don't really go to much places outside of the state or country. I've only ever gone to China as a vacation outside of the country and I'd have to say, I am still surprised with all the surprising things that I learn there. But I want to go to Europe and that's where I am planning on going to this summer. I can't wait to see how much of a difference it is to the rest of the world. I wouldn't mind going back to China since there are still much more that I haven't seen or done.

I loved being in Egypt...it was definitely the most foreign place I've ever been. Thankfully, my sister was living there at the time, so it was like having an insider's view.

We went so many places where they never met Americans, so we ended up being the star attraction. I had to pose for so many pictures with random Egyptians that I felt like a slightly better-looking Angelina Jolie. ;)

Thanks for an awesome giveaway!
